1. Purpose

This policy establishes a structured framework for recording, reviewing, certifying, and auditing employee work hours based on actual productive work, not mere physical presence or system login time. The objectives of this policy are to:
  • ensure employees are compensated for genuine work performed,
  • ensure productivity expectations are met,
  • prevent misuse of working hours and benefits,
  • establish clear accountability for employees and managers,
  • provide auditable records for compliance, discipline, and exit processes.

2. Scope and Applicability

2.1 Covered Persons This policy applies to:
  • full-time employees (time + work certification)
  • contractors and consultants (work certification + billing validation)
2.2 Relationship to Other Policies This policy operates in conjunction with:
  1. Benefits & Working Arrangements Policy,
  2. Progressive Discipline and Exit Policy,
  3. Complaints & Grievance Redressal Policy,
  4. Information Security and IP Policies.
Violations under this policy may trigger action under those policies.
