Zemuria is committed to maintaining a safe, healthy, productive, and professional work environment. Substance abuse, impairment, or misuse of drugs or alcohol can compromise individual performance, team safety, and the integrity of our workplace. This policy applies to all employees, contractors, interns, trainees, apprentices, visitors, vendors, and any individual present on company premises or representing Zemuria.

1. Drug-Free Workplace

Zemuria is a drug-free workplace. The following are strictly prohibited on company premises, during working hours, or while representing the company:
  • Possession, use, distribution, sale, or manufacture of illegal drugs
  • Being under the influence of drugs or intoxicating substances
  • Possession of prohibited substances during work-related travel, events, or offsites
Violation of this policy will result in disciplinary action up to and including immediate termination.

Prohibited Substances

Prohibited substances include, but are not limited to:
  • All illegal drugs under applicable local or national law
  • Psychedelic substances of any kind
  • Marijuana / cannabis in any form (including edibles, oils, or derivatives), regardless of local legalization status
  • Alcohol of any kind
  • Cigarettes, cigars, vaping devices, e-cigarettes, or any nicotine-delivery products
This prohibition applies inside company offices, facilities, and any premises where company work is conducted.

2. Alcohol and Smoking

Alcohol consumption is not permitted during working hours, on company premises, or at company-sponsored events unless explicitly approved in writing by senior management for a specific occasion. Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside company premises or designated work areas.
