1. Prohibited Claims

Employees must not:
  • claim to have built, founded, or owned portfolio companies,
  • represent portfolio products or outcomes as personal work,
  • disclose portfolio strategies, roadmaps, or internal discussions,
  • imply personal authority over portfolio ventures.
This applies across:
  • resumes and CVs,
  • LinkedIn profiles,
  • websites and portfolios,
  • interviews, talks, and social media.

1.1 Permitted Descriptions

Employees may describe involvement factually, such as:
  • “contributed as part of a venture studio team supporting portfolio companies,”
  • “worked on engineering tasks under Company direction.”
  • Descriptions must not exaggerate responsibility or imply ownership.
