# 2.3 Workplace Violence

**Workplace Violence**

Violence or threats of violence are considered severe misconduct.

This includes:

* Physical assault
* Sexual violence
* Threats or intimidation
* Destruction of property
* Severe verbal abuse

**If you witness or suspect violence:**

1. Report immediately to HR / Manager
2. Contact building security or emergency services if required
3. Prioritize your safety - do not intervene physically
4. Confirmed acts of violence will result in immediate termination and may involve law enforcement.
