# 13.9 Press, Media & Public Commentary

**Employees must not:**

* engage with journalists or media regarding Company or portfolio matters,
* provide quotes, comments, or background briefingses,
* respond to press inquiries directly,
* unless expressly authorized.

Any media inquiry must be escalated to HR or the designated communications authority.
