# 13.8 Portfolio Companies & Attribution

### **1. Prohibited Claims**

**Employees must not:**

* claim to have built, founded, or owned portfolio companies,
* represent portfolio products or outcomes as personal work,
* disclose portfolio strategies, roadmaps, or internal discussions,
* imply personal authority over portfolio ventures.

**This applies across:**

* resumes and CVs,
* LinkedIn profiles,
* websites and portfolios,
* interviews, talks, and social media.

### 1.1 Permitted Descriptions

**Employees may describe involvement factually, such as:**

* “contributed as part of a venture studio team supporting portfolio companies,”
* “worked on engineering tasks under Company direction.”
* Descriptions must not exaggerate responsibility or imply ownership.
