# 12.7 Open Source Contributions

**Employees must not:**

* contribute Company-derived code or concepts to open-source projects,
* release internal tools, libraries, or frameworks,
* license Company IP under open-source terms,

without prior written approval.

**Any approved open-source contribution must:**

* comply with Company licensing decisions,
* not expose confidential or proprietary elements.
