# 5.5 Social Media

Zemuria recognizes the importance of social media but expects responsible use.

### **A. Personal Social Media Use**

You may access personal social media accounts at work provided that:

* It does not affect productivity or performance
* Your views are clearly personal and not represented as company positions
* No confidential, proprietary, or internal information is shared
* No content is posted that is defamatory, discriminatory, or harassing toward colleagues, clients, founders, or partners
* Disclaimers such as “opinions are my own” do not override confidentiality obligations.

### **B. Representing Zemuria Online**

Only authorized individuals may speak on behalf of Zemuria or manage official accounts.

When representing the company:

* Be professional, accurate, and respectful
* Stay within your domain of authority and expertise
* Coordinate major announcements with Marketing/PR
* Comply with IP, copyright, and confidentiality laws
* Correct errors promptly and avoid unnecessary deletions

Misrepresentation or reputational harm caused through social media may result in disciplinary action.

**Enforcement**

Violations of these policies may result in disciplinary action, including termination, legal action, and recovery of damages where applicable
