# Theft and damage to company equipment

### 8. Theft or Loss of Company Equipment

Any loss or theft must be reported immediately.

* A police complaint must be filed where required and a copy submitted to HR.
* Liability will be assessed based on circumstances, including negligence or policy violations.
* No automatic financial liability will be imposed without review.
